We asked a few of our Clients to reflect on their experiences and emotions during their recent Real Estate Transactions with Eric Skillins. For your reference:

When we decided to “right size” from a large home to a smaller local area condominium, there was limited supply in the area for what we were looking for. It became a waiting game for new listings to come on the market. Eric was patient ,knowledgeable and always available. He kept us advised as to any new listings that were of interest to us and arranged showings to our schedules. We finally found what we were looking for and Eric was very helpful in completing our successful closing.

Selling your home can be both exciting as well as emotionally draining. It’s critically important to have the right partner walking with you through this entire process. When we sold our home on Golf Links Drive, Aurora, we interviewed several agents and we could not have been happier with our final choice of Kelly Hookey (my Listings partner) and Eric Skillins. They were dedicated to us throughout the entire process by providing invaluable advice and guidance along the way. My wife and I always felt that they truly had our best interests at heart and consequently they relieved much of the accrued anxiety that we were both experiencing. We wholeheartedly endorse Kelly and Eric if you’re considering putting your home on the market. You will not be disappointed.

M. & B.N.

I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Eric.

Throughout the past several months, Eric has been there every step of the way. He has always answered every call or email no matter what time of day or night it was. His professionalism, mentorship, knowledge, honesty, and hard work ethic are much respected and appreciated.  Giving the current market for houses, we faced multiple offers on every property, but l never felt forced to make an offer. When l finally found the “one” and ended up in a bidding war, Eric walked me through every step of the negotiations and in the end we were successful. I was very impressed with Eric’s professionalism and his genuine interest in making sure l was satisfied with my final decision on my new place.

I would recommend Eric to anyone in the market to purchase a home. I will also look to Eric when l have any future real estate needs. The best part is that l now have a new friend – a friendship that will continue to grow!

Next Steps…

The best way to select the right real estate agent, is to meet with him or her in person. Ask questions. See if there is a good fit.

There are 48,000 registered realtors in the GTA. My recommendation is that your goals, when you are interviewing candidates, are to pick one with whom you have absolute trust and who demonstrates he/she can do the job for you.

My Promise to You

Service with trust and integrity – to know your priorities, wish list and challenges and to focus on these.

After 7 years in Real Estate, I am proud to have had impressive success developing a real estate portfolio of very happy, satisfied, and thankful clients for listings and buys.

Relevant Experience

Real Estate was a natural progression. In my prior 25+ year career as a corporate banker for major banks in Canada and the US, I very much enjoyed being a relationship manager – helping people. In this role, success came because I established myself as a trusted advisor, idea generator, marketer, problem solver, and generally helped customers achieve their goals and overcome their challenges.

Some background

I have been watching York Region and southern Ontario grow and mature for a long time. My family moved to Aurora over 55 years ago. I attended public and high schools in Aurora, played and then coached my children and Aurora kids in local sports. Later, my 4 years as a Board Member of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce were very productive and enjoyable. I am a member and volunteer at Trinity Anglican Church and still playing age-appropriate hockey 3x a week with my friends.
